Rocket Trajectory Simulation

Rocket Simulation Banner

Project Overview

As part of my work with Voyager Mayeen, I developed a comprehensive rocket trajectory simulation. The objective was to create a high-fidelity model to predict the flight path of the Mayeen-1 rocket under various conditions, which is crucial for mission planning and GNC system development.

Technical Details

The simulation was built using a 6-degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) model, which accounts for translational and rotational motion in three-dimensional space. This involved complex physics and aerodynamics calculations, including thrust curves, atmospheric density changes, and gravitational forces. The simulator was a key tool for testing guidance algorithms before deploying them on actual hardware.
